- Match on action
- Shot/Reverse shot
- The 180-degree rule
The filming was based on 2 teenager friends, where 1 of them hides an secret , but eventually tells the truth to her friend - which in this case that role belonged to Luciana. During the filming process we both had to exchange couple of sentences. Nomad’s role was the cameraman & director, however we all were involved in deciding what kind of shot type to use and deciding from which angle would be best, for that particular shot. What I learnt by doing the preliminary exercise was that acting in front of a camera was not easy! However during both filming & editing process I learnt some stuff.
- Filming is difficult and is not as easy of how it looks from the outside! - Because when filming my group had to re-film the shots that we did not like and we was thinking of doing an voice over because the camera did not pick up me & Luciana’s voice whilst we was speaking. Even though we was speaking clearly. We was thinking to re-film everything from scratch, but we did not have time to do this, as we had to upload our footage.
- Editing Once we had finished filming as a group we had to upload our footage onto Final Cut Pro. The editing process taught me new things but still for me I think this was the tricky bit, as I am not that fully comfortable with using the software Final Cut Pro. However now I am able to do the basic stuff like cutting clips etc.
